Two arrested as police recover stolen electronics in Kayole

Two people have been arrested in Kayole, Nairobi County, following a police operation that led to the recovery of several mobile phones and laptops suspected to be stolen.

The suspects were arrested by officers from Soweto Police Station during a security operation targeting individuals suspected of dealing in illegally acquired property.

Police recovered 10 functional mobile phones, three laptops and 18 non-functional assorted mobile phones during the operation.

The two suspects are being held at Soweto Police Station as they await processing and arraignment in court. The recovered electronic devices have been kept as exhibits.

The National Police Service says it will continue carrying out targeted operations across the country to disrupt criminal networks involved in the trade of stolen property.

Members of the public have been urged to report any criminal or suspicious activities to the nearest police station.
