He cautioned Kenyans against entrusting the country’s leadership to non-visionary leaders questioning their ability to provide credible alternatives to President William Ruto.

“We want continuity and President Ruto has already set pace for the beyond 2030 debate. This is visionary leadership. Those forming new political parties now are lying to Kenyans. Let us not accept that kind of gamble.” Mudavadi warned.

Speaking during an ACK church service in Kapsabet, Nandi County, on Sunday, October 18, 2026, Mudavadi challenged opposition politicians forming new political parties, arguing they lack sufficient time to build structures, develop policies, frameworks and prepare for national leadership.

The Church was celebrating the 10th year anniversary during the thanks giving service.

“We should not second guess the destiny of our country. Hatuwezi tukaamka na tufanye karata ya pata potea kwa uongozi wa taifa letu. Kuna watu wanafahamu kwamba tumebaki na miezi sita tukiangalia timetable ya IEBC, na wanajaribu kuzurura wakisema wameunda vyama. Hiyo ni kupotosha wakenya.” he said

The Prime CS defended President Ruto’s leadership arguing that Kenya requires continuity in leadership rather than political experiments that could disrupt the country’s development agenda.

Mudavadi said nobody will be parachuted to leadership, and called on President Ruto’s supporters to remain focused as the Broad-Based leaders continue to drum up support for President Ruto’s re-election bid.

“Hata kwa kanisa hii if you want to be a leader like Bishop Korir, you will not be parachuted. Lazima utainuka within the ranks za hilo kanisa na utambulike ndio ufike pale. Kwa hivyo wale wanafikiri wata parachute leadership kwa hii Kenya my friend hiyo parachute itakatika ukiwa huko juu. We want solid leadership and the President is our guide.” Mudavadi explained.

“Kupitia kwa maombi ya wakenya najua tutakuwa na uchaguzi wa halali, wa amani, wa huru, bila uchochezi na bila fujo. Mheshimiwa William Ruto kwa mapenzi ya mwenyezi Mungu atapata awamu ya pili ya kutuongoza tukienda mbele.” Mudavadi added.

In his remarks, the Foreign and Diaspora Affairs Cabinet Secretary framed peace as Kenya’s greatest economic asset and the vital foundation for national development, regional stability, and investment.

He said President Ruto has remained to be a champion of regional and global peace cautioning Kenyans against taking the peace and stability the country enjoys for granted.

“Sisi tunamuunga mheshimiwa William Ruto mkono kikamilifu, and for a good reason. Not for political expediency but for a good reason. Mheshimiwa William Ruto, amehakikisha kwamba kuna usalama katika taifa la Kenya. Tuko hapa kwa sababu kuna usalama katika taifa letu. We gather and talk because there is peace in our country.” Mudavadi said.

“Kuna shida katika the ‘Horn of Africa’ kuanzia Sudan, hata kule Middle East sasa tunaona Ethiopia ina shida hata South Sudan na pia mataifa mengi ambayo yametuzingira yana shida.” he regretted.

Ahead of the upcoming elections, Mudavadi has called on politicians to reject hate speech and tribalism, urging citizens to safeguard national unity and avoid any repeat of past post-election violence.

“Tumshukuru Mwenyezi Mungu kwasababu kupitia kwake tuna kiongozi ambaye anadumisha amani. Wewe tafakari watoto wangapi hawaendi shule Sudan, jamii ngapi hazipati chakula hata wakulima wametoweka. Kuna sehemu hakuna Kanisa.” Mudavadi remarked.

“So, we all stand to say thank you President Ruto for having Kenya to remain a peaceful country.” he added.
