Barcelona has revealed that they will host the Joan Gamper Trophy, the team’s yearly preseason opener, at the Spotify Camp Nou on August 10.
Barça have spent the past two seasons playing at the Olympic Stadium in the city as extensive renovation work is carried out on their long-term home.
However, Barça are still expected to begin next season’s La Liga with three away games.
The club then intends to play games with a maximum attendance of 50,000 to 60,000 people in between games while the renovations are being completed.
The Catalan team last played in its iconic venue in May 2023.
