Deputy IG Masengeli warns against threats to national security

Deputy Inspector General of Police, Gilbert Masengeli, has issued a stern warning to individuals attempting to disrupt peace and security in the country, stating that they will face the full force of the law.

Speaking in Kakamega during an official visit, where he also officially launched a church’s and a mosque stone for the construction of a church within the Administration Police residential area, Masengeli emphasized that security agencies will not hesitate to take legal action against those found jeopardizing the safety of Kenyans.

He urged all Kenyans to maintain peace across the country and to respect the nation’s laws.

Accompanying Masengeli was Lurambi MP, Bishop Titus Khamala, Garissa Senator Abdulkadir Haji called on security agencies to be proactive in dealing with lawbreakers, particularly politicians who frequently violate the law.

They also asked Kenyans to support the president in his bid to unite the country.
