Controversial TikToker Brian Chira is scheduled to be buried at his grandmother’s home in Githunguri on Tuesday.
Ahead of his burial, friends, fans and family gathered at the Rainbow Resort in Ruiru in a candlelight vigil to honour his memory.
Tributes poured in with Chira’s family in attendance.
Thanking them for their support, Chira’s cousin Brian said: “Thank you, and continue supporting our grandmother.”
Support for the late content creator’s grandmother has been overwhelming since his death with over KSh. 7M raised during an online fundraiser according to fellow TikToker Baba Talisha.
Brian Chira died of head injuries sustained during a hit-and-run that is still under investigation according to police.
He was 27.
