Police have arrested four suspected members of a criminal gang linked to a series of robberies in Diani, Kwale County.
In a multi-agency operation conducted on Monday, officers raided Magutu and Ukunda Scheme areas in Msambweni Sub-County, where the suspects were apprehended.
The suspects were found armed with pangas, knives, and a slasher during the early morning swoop.
They are currently in custody pending further processing and arraignment in court. The recovered weapons have been secured as exhibits to aid the ongoing investigation.
The National Police Service (NPS) has urged members of the public to remain vigilant and continue sharing information that could help security agencies combat crime.
