Kenya Editors Guild (KEG) has appointed Kenya Broadcasting Corporation’s Assistant Editor in Chief Millicent Awuor as its Chaiperson of Programmes.
In a statement Monday evening, KEG President Zubeidah Kananu also announced the appointment of Linda Bach as the new Chief Executive Officer.
“Linda brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the role, and we are confident that her leadership will drive the
organisation forward,” she said.
Bach will officially assume office on October 16, 2025.
Zubeidah and expressed confidence in her leadership, citing her extensive experience and dedication to media professionalism.
The new changes also saw Andy Kagwa from the Standard Group named as a council member print on the Executive Council.
