Content creator Brian Chira who died on March 16, at the age of 27, will be buried in Githunguri, his grandmother’s home, on Tuesday.
The news comes after his body was moved from the city mortuary to the Kenyatta University mortuary earlier this week after an autopsy was conducted.
Kenyan musician KRG had offered to foot the bill for the transfer citing that Chira was an orphan – Brian was raised by his grandmother.
The announcement was made where the late creator was most popular, on TikTok, by creator Baba Talisha, a close friend of Chira.
“The burial date will be March 26, and the funeral [will be held] in Githunguri where his grandmother has been staying,” he said.
The often controversial TikToker died of head injuries sustained during a hit-and-run that police say they are investigating.
