UEFA has confirmed the death of a spectator during Portugal’s Nations League final win against Spain in Munich on Sunday.
It has been revealed that in the last minutes of the game at Allianz Arena, a supporter fell from the second tier of the main stand to the sitting area below.
According to a statement from UEFA, the match went on while paramedics and stadium stewards attended to the spectator, but medical intervention was unable to save their life.
