Saudi-Africa Summit: Treasury CS says Kenya is exploring opportunities for growth

Treasury Cabinet Secretary Prof Njuguna Ndung’u says Kenya is actively exploring opportunities available for the country to bolster the economy in forums such as the inaugural Saudi-Africa summit being held in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on Friday.

Prof. Ndung’u made the revelation while addressing the Saudi-Africa economic conference in Riyadh.

During the conference, the Arab Cooperation Group pledged USD 50 billion to support various development projects in Africa in line with Vision 2040.

President William Ruto is attending the summit that aims to enhance political coordination, address regional security threats, promote economic transformation through research and the local development of new energy solutions, and boost investment cooperation.
