In an effort to preserve and celebrate the rich Maasai heritage, at least 25 cultural groups from Kajiado Central sub-county have come together for a vibrant two-month cultural competition taking place in Ngoire village, Kajiado County.
The event, themed My Village, My Culture, My Traditions, provides a unique platform for communities to showcase their diverse cultural expressions through folk songs, poetry, drama, traditional cuisine, and other heritage practices.
The top-performing group will take home a grand prize of KSh 500,000, while the first runner-up will receive KSh 300,000.
