The government has announced strict, robust measures that will guide fans during the African Nations Championship (CHAN) group A matches at Nyayo and Kasarani stadiums as well as the final set for 30th August.
Among the measures announced include:
– All tickets will be sold exclusively online. No physical tickets will be accepted at any gate.
– Four layers of screening will be in place to ensure secure, efficient movement into and around the stadiums.
– Entry will be strictly limited to those with valid digital tickets. Without one, you will not be allowed access.
– The Ministry has operationalised a CHAN Security Hotline to enable real-time reporting of suspicious behaviour, threats, or safety concerns.
Regular tickets are being sold for Ksh 200, Ksh 500 for VIP and Ksh 1,000 for the VVIP tickets.
