The s 18-hole Ruiru Sports Club will host the second edition of the Engineers Golf Tournament, now known as IEK Engineers Tournament.
A total of 270 golfers are expected to descend on the lush greens of Ruiru Sports Club battling for honours in several categories.
“We are excited to welcome golfers for what promises to be an exciting weekend of sport and camaraderie. This tournament underscores the strong link between golf, networking, and professional growth, and we are proud to support IEK’s mission to grow student membership,” said Ruiru Sports Club Captain Justus Mathenge.
The IEK Engineers Tournament is expected to feature fierce competition across various categories this as tournament partners reitarated their support for the event.
Tournament coordinator, Engineer Derek Okova, said: “The event continues to grow in stature and impact. We are using golf as a platform to connect industry leaders, showcase the role of engineers in nation-building, and inspire young engineers. The support from our sponsors is a clear testament to the importance of investing in future talent.”
The tournament will begin with the first teeing off at 6:30 a.m., followed by an equally competitive afternoon session starting at noon.
The event, is sponsored by Kenya Pipeline Company (KPC), Kenya Rural Roads Authority (KeRRA), Baran Technologies Network, ICEA Lion, Burhani Engineers, and Topmast.
