The second part of the fourth season of ‘Bridgerton’ is set to debut on Thursday, with former stars Jonathan Bailey and Kate Sharma expected to make an appearance.

Season 4 is based on Julia Quinn’s third novel, ‘An Offer From A Gentleman’, following the Bridgerton family’s second son, Benedict (Luke Thompson), in his quest to find love, or at least find the identity of the ‘lady is silver’ Sophie Baek, played by Yerin Ha.

The first part of the season premiered on January 29 and spent 4 weeks in the Top 10 in Kenya, debuting globally with 39.7 million views in its first four days.

For many Kenyan fans, the excitement of the season was compounded when Kenyan actor, Lenana Kariba, known for his roles on ‘Selina’ and ‘Auntie Boss’, made an appearance on the show as one of the Queen’s footmen.

Speaking in a recent interview while on vacation in Kenya, Kariba said of fan reactions: “I really wasn’t expecting this to blow up this much. I thought some people would congratulate me, be nice, but the scale of the response has been beyond anything I imagined.

“My video even got a like from Shonda Rhimes, and I thought… wow. What made it even more special was that they didn’t know me. I’m just a background actor, someone off the radar. And yet, they took a moment to acknowledge me.”

Part 2 premieres February 26.
