The Cabinet Secretary for Public Service nominee, Geoffrey Ruku, has welcomed President Ruto’s upcoming tour of the Mt Kenya region and challenged anyone who claims the government has not made significant strides in development to visit Mbeere North.
Speaking in Siakago Town, Ruku emphasized the remarkable progress the Mbeere North constituency has seen under the Kenya Kwanza administration.
Ruku thanked the President for nominating him and invited him to visit the region to inspect and launch additional development projects.
Ruku highlighted several key initiatives that have contributed to the region’s transformation, including the construction of 80 Junior Secondary School (JSS) classrooms, the Kamata and Kanyuambora irrigation projects, rural electrification programs, and the enhancement of school infrastructure through the Imarisha Elimu initiative.
Elder Njeru Kavici lauded the President inviting him to visit Mbeere North at any time, further solidifying the community’s strong support for the nominee.
In a mini Cabinet reshuffle last week; President Ruto nominated the Mbeere North legislator to head the Public Service docket after sacking Justin Muturi.
