Simeon Araka bagged gold for Kenya in the 400m under-18 boys final on day 3 of the 3rd CAA Athletics Championship at the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria on Friday
Araka clocked 47.46 seconds to win the African title, followed by Philip Odjer of Ghana, who won silver in 47.87, while Kenya’s Robert Sang settled for bronze in 47.89.
Kenya has so far won 6 gold medals in the championship, which will conclude on Saturday.
