The 2023 Billboard Music Awards have officially handed out this year’s top prizes.

Nigerian artists Burna Boy and Rema have both won the newly unveiled Afrobeat awards, Burna for Top Afrobeat Artist and Rema for Top Afrobeat Song “Calm Down” featuring Selena Gomez.

The top winner of the night was Morgan Wallen with 11 wins, while Taylor Swift was the biggest female winner adding 10 prizes to her repertoire. (In fact, Swift’s 10 wins and Drake’s five on Sunday night put them in a tie for the winning artists of all time at the Billboard Music Awards.
