The national rugby sevens team Kenya Lionesses will face Colombia in the main Cup semi finals of the ongoing second leg of the Challenger Series in Cape Town,South Africa.
The Semi final is scheduled Saturday 4.18PM East Africa Time.
Kenya won her opening group A matches against Belgium and Uganda to seal the semi final spot.
Lionesses beat Belgium 17-5 in their first encounter at Athlone Stadium.Captain Grace Okulu scored a hattrick of tries to guide Kenya to the victory.
Femke Soens scored the lone Belgium try that was not converted.Kenya faced East Africa neighbours Uganda in the second fixture with Lionesses emerging with a 10-5 win.
Kenya will now face Colombia in the semi final Saturday while Czechia will play South Africa in the second semi final.
Kenya will be seeking to clinch the second leg of the challenger series after winning the first leg held at the same venue last weekend.
After the Cape Town legs, the top eight men’s and women’s teams will progress to the third round in Krakow,Poland on 11-12 April.
