With 34 group matches at the 8th edition of the TotalEnergies African Nations Championship done and dusted, focus now shifts to the last 8 remaining fixtures, starting with the quarter-finals set for Friday and Saturday.
69 goals have been scored at the end of the group matches, with 3 players tied on 3 goals each: Thabiso Kutumela of South Africa, Uganda’s Allan Okelo and Ousama Lamlioui from Morocco.

After yesterday and today’s rest, the action resumes tomorrow with two quarter-finals: Kenya hosting Madagascar from 5pm at Kasarani Stadium, followed by two-time champions Morocco, who will be up against hosts Tanzania at 8pm at the Benjamin Mkapa National Stadium.
Defending champions The Lions of Teranga of Senegal will take on Uganda Cranes at 5pm on Saturday at the Mandela National Stadium, before last edition finalist Algeria concludes the round against Sudan from 8pm at the 15,000 seater Amaan Stadium in Zanzibar.
The semi finals will be staged on the 26th of this month at Mandela and Benjamin Mkapa stadiums after which Uganda will play host to bronze medalist match on 29th and concluding with the final in Nairobi a day after.
