For the first time, China Media Group (CMG) participated as an associate member in the African Union of Broadcasting meetings. From Tuesday to Thursday, CMG joined media leaders from across Africa in Gaborone, Botswana, to discuss the future of media in the context of new technologies and climate change.
China Media Group was honored with a special contribution award by the African Union of Broadcasting on Tuesday in Gaborone, Botswana. The award ceremony, which highlighted a “China Day” themed event, marked AUB’s recognition of the “Twinkle Star Project” launched by CMG Africa in 2023. This project featured an animation tour of schools in six Kenyan villages and towns, screening CMG cartoons to over 2,000 students.
