3K FC who finished 9th last season are aiming to better their perfomance this season after signing 10 players from National Super League sides.
Striker Phineas Mwenda Scored the lone goal in the 81st minute to give 3K FC a deserved 1-0 victory.
The Embu-based team said the win boosted the morale of the players who are now seeking to finish the season in a better position.
The team has already signed 10 new players from FKF Division One and National Super League sides.
Meanwhile, Simba Apparel who are taking part in the Division 1 league for the first time lost their previous match 4-0 against Fortune Sacco.
This weekend 3K FC will face Fortune Sacco FC from Kirinyaga while Simba will entertain Nairobi’s Street Fire.
This season 3k will be using the Moi stadium as their home ground after they were granted permission by Embu governor Cecily Mbarire in a bid to boost the standards of the game in the county.
