Gov’t to fill vacant Chief and Assistant Chief Positions within 90 days

“The vacancies are a result of natural attrition, dismissal from service for officers after their cases have been concluded by the Courts or Public Service Commission, and there are no pending appeals before the Courts, promotion of the office holders to higher offices, resignation and redesignation of the officer holders,” Kindiki explained.

The CS was responding to questions by Marsabit Senator Mohamed Chute and other Senators on recruitment and deployment of Chiefs and Assistant Chiefs.

The National Government Administration is structured into 8 regions, 47 counties, 378 sub-counties,  982 divisions, 3955 locations, and 9045 sub-locations.
