Kenya Football Club has suspended the entire technical bench following a series of poor results as goalkeeper trainer Samuel Koko Okoth, takes over in an interim capacity for the two final matches of the season.
The Club has suspended its Head Coach, Patrick Odhiambo; Assistant Coach Jeffer Odongo; and Fitness Trainer Eric Muranda, effective immediately.
“We have had mutual discussions with the coach and the two assistants. We want to inject fresh impetus into the team to finish strong and prepare for the next season,” said KCB FC Chairman Bramwel Simiyu.
“KCB Football remains a crucial part of the KCB brand’s sporting platform. With that said, it’s imperative for us to take stock of where we are as we position ourselves more strongly for the future. We have an ambition to win the league and to sustain such a performance over the years,” he added.
The team is currently sitting in 9th place on the FKF Premier League table with 41 points from 32 matches, winning 10, drawing 11 and losing 11.
KCB will host Nairobi City Stars on 10th June before finishing the season away against AFC Leopards on 15th June 2025.
