Canvas Cosmetics unveiled its expanded makeup collection at an exclusive launch event in Nairobi, introducing 31 new products designed to serve Kenya’s diverse beauty market.

The event, held at Nomad Kwetu by Hilton, showcased the local brand’s new range featuring 9 concealer shades, 12 foundation shades and 10 pressed powder options.

The launch event took a unique approach, partnering with premium spirits brand Tanqueray No. Ten to create an experience that merged beauty and beverage craftsmanship.

Speaking at the event, Jean Okech Nyawara, EABL’s Head of Marketing, Spirits Portfolio, East Africa, said, “Inspired by Tanqueray No. Ten’s signature elegance and the artistry of the new Canvas cosmetics line, we created a singular experience reflecting our shared dedication to craftsmanship, confidence and refined self-expression.”

Guests experienced cocktail pairings designed to complement the cosmetics launch theme. Celebrated luxury spirits brand ambassador KingKline Ojal created two signature drinks for the occasion, the Earl Grey Fizz and The Chamomile Foundation, incorporating botanical elements that reflected the makeup collection’s aesthetic.

The expanded shade range comes at a time when there are conversations about inclusivity in African beauty markets, where consumers have historically faced limited options for products matching diverse skin tones.
