Moroccan caftans listed as intangible Cultural heritage by UNESCO

On Wednesday in New Delhi, the Moroccan caftan was added to the list of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity during the 20th session of UNESCO’s Intergovernmental Committee for the Safeguarding of Intangible Cultural Heritage.

This inscription is international recognition of Morocco’s artistic genius and centuries-old expertise, as well as the Kingdom’s ability to preserve, promote, and pass on its traditions.
