President William Ruto and First Lady Rachel Ruto are in Mwanza, Tanzania for Charlene’s wedding to Tanzanian enterpreneur Isaya Yunge.
The wedding comes a few months after the traditional wedding, Koito, took place at the family’s Intonna Heritage Farm, in Kilgoris, Narok county in August.
President William Ruto arrived on Thursday, November 5 and was welcomed by Mwanza Regional Commissioner Salum Hamduni.
On the day of the wedding, President Ruto was all smiles as he coordinated his outfit with Mama Rachel for the day.
He wasn’t the only one, CS Murkomen and Duale could also be seen with big smiles.
CS Murkomen wished the couple well on the day, saying: “We bear blessings of joy and a lifetime of happiness for the newlyweds.”
Charlene wore a white wedding gown paired with cathedral length veil that trailed behind her as she walkes. Her gown featured floral detailing on its bodice, flowing down the skirt and along its sleeves.
