On Madaraka Day 2025, beneath the sky so free,
As flags wave proud from sea to tree,
She walks with grace, serene, composed—
Kenya’s First Lady, finely clothed.

Her dress, a whisper of the land,
In every thread, a nation’s hand.
The green of valleys, bold and true,
The white of peace we all pursue.

Gold accents like the morning sun,
That speak of battles we have won.
The red, a tribute firm and deep,
To those who dreamed so we could leap.

No fashion flaunt, no vain display,
But meaning stitched in soft array.
Each fold, a prayer, each step, a song,
Of where we’ve come, and we belong.

She stands not just for power or fame,
But womanhood with heart aflame.
Her posture calm, her smile refined,
A mirror of her steadfast mind.

From Homa Bay breeze to Nairobi’s cheer,
Kenyans rise when she draws near.
Not for glamour, though it’s there—
But for the dignity she wears with care.

In tailored pride and modest might,
She makes our Madaraka bright.
For in her style, we see our past,
And hope in her that long will last.

So let the cameras find her face,
And capture more than cloth and lace—
A symbol, strong, of Kenya’s way,
Our gracious First Lady on this day.
