South African hip hop artists Cassper Nyovest and Nasty C, along with Kenyan music stars Savara and Charisma, are set to perform at the Heineken UEFA Champions League Final Viewing Party on May 31.
The event will be held at the Ulinzi Sports Complex in Lang’ata where fans will watch the high-stakes final match of the UEFA Champions League on giant screens while enjoying premium entertainment, food, and drinks courtesy of Heineken.
“The UEFA Champions League is a truly global competition, and we are delighted as Heineken®, through KWAL, part of the Heineken company, to be giving Kenyan fans a chance to experience the competition up close and personal,” said Jonas Geeraerts, Commercial Director at Kenya Wine Agencies Limited (KWAL), the company that markets Heineken® locally.
The Performers
Cassper Nyovest, known for his chart-topping hits, will bring his wealth of experience to the Nairobi stage. His blend of hip hop, kwaito, and Afrobeats has made him one of Africa’s most influential musicians.
Joining him is fellow South African rapper Nasty C, who continues to gain international acclaim for his lyrical prowess and global collaborations with artists like T.I and Ari Lennox.
Representing Kenya, Savara, best known as part of the award-winning group Sauti Sol, will bring his solo energy and unique Afro-fusion sound to the event.
He will be joined by the soulful Charisma, whose smooth vocals and growing fanbase make him one of the country’s most promising young talents.
The viewing party is a culmination of what has been an exciting few weeks for football fans who got to see the UEFA Champions League (UCL) Trophy, which arrived in the country earlier this month.
Sponsored by Heineken, football legend Bastian Schweinsteiger – a previous UCL winner- accompanied the trophy to Kenya.
Speaking about his tour with the trophy, the former Bayern Munich midfielder said he was happy to meet such passionate fans.
“Football is all about connection, emotion, and unforgettable moments. Some of the most passionate fans I’ve met have never even been to a stadium, yet their love for the game is just as strong as if they were on the pitch. I’m excited to meet some of them as I travel with Heineken® on the 2025 UCL Trophy Tour, bringing the magic of the tournament to fans around the world,” he said.
Tickets for the viewing party are currently on sale.
