StarTimes Media has officially launched its Christmas campaign for 2024, featuring a range of exciting promotions designed to enhance the viewing experience for both Digital Terrestrial Television (DTT) and Direct-to-Home (DTH) subscribers.
The upgrade-focused campaign will run from 15 November 2024 to 15 January 2025 and includes bouquet upgrades, additional viewing days, and discounts on decoder purchases to enrich festive entertainment.
Subscription upgrade offers feature a two-month payment plan across all tiers.
For DTT subscribers, Nyota users will be upgraded to Basic, while Basic subscribers will progress to Classic. Classic users will also receive an additional 10 days of viewing.
DTH subscribers on the Nova package will be upgraded to Smart, Smart subscribers to Super, and Super subscribers to Global, with Global subscribers receiving 10 extra days upon completing their payments.
Myke Mwai, StarTimes Head of PR and Content Syndication, emphasised the initiative’s focus on affordability and value. He noted that the campaign enables subscribers to explore premium content at no extra cost, aligning with the company’s goal of providing accessible, high-quality entertainment.
“This campaign is a great chance for our subscribers to explore and enjoy more content as we approach the holiday season,” Mwai said.
The campaign also introduces appealing decoder purchase offers starting on 18 November. Customers can buy a DTH decoder for KSH 2,999, plus a KSH 200 subscription fee, to access the Super bouquet for one month.
Alternatively, a DTT decoder is available for KSH 1,699, with a KSH 200 subscription fee unlocking the Classic bouquet for one month.
Overall, the promotion aims to offer customers a richer, more diverse television experience, making it an ideal time to explore new content and channels.
