Kenyan music producer Vic West has once again joined forces with rising vocal powerhouse Teslah for their latest release, “Call Me” set to be released on Friday.

The song explores the obsessive infatuation that comes with falling hard, with Teslah expressing her intention to make the relationship official.

Its distinct sound, an energetic fusion of Amapiano-inspired rhythms and multilingual verses blending English, Swahili, and Sheng, makes “Call Me” both infectious and culturally rich.

“I’ve worked with Teslah before, so I already know the kind of records that suit her voice and style,” says Vic West. “When I created this one, I knew right away it was her lane and she delivered perfectly, no doubt.”

Both artists are at the forefront of a fresh, genre-blending wave in Kenyan music.

Vic West, now signed to Universal Music Group East Africa, continues to push boundaries with globally appealing beats while staying true to his roots.

His signature style, bold, layered, and dance-ready, first captured the continent’s attention with “Kuna Kuna,” a viral smash that topped charts for 13 weeks and surpassed 28 million views on YouTube.

Teslah, meanwhile, is quickly carving out her space as a trendsetter. Her catchy, dance-friendly tracks have become staples on social media platforms like TikTok, where fans regularly create viral dance challenges inspired by her music.

“Working with Vic always brings wonderful results,” Teslah says. “We’ve always had chemistry when it comes to melodies and ideas. I wrote *Call Me* to be versatile and simple, even my baby cousins can sing along.”

Their collaborative track record is impressive. Previous hits like “Men Can Lie” have earned over 1 million views, while songs such as “Slido” and “Smokie Pasua” have sparked countless fan-made videos and social media trends.
