Dennis Kipkoech was on Tuesday unveiled as the latest millionaire in town after becoming the seventh SportPesa Midweek Jackpot winner in 2025.

Using only 99 bob as his stake, the 60-year-old man scooped a staggering Ksh 10,791,271 after correctly predicting the outcome of all 13 games in that week’s SportPesa Midweek Jackpot.

Having placed two separate Midweek Jackpot bets, Kipkoech saw his second prediction enabled him become the latest millionaire to be minted out of SportPesa’s long line of winners.

“On that day, I had placed two Midweek Jackpot bets. I analyzed the first one thoroughly and for a good number of hours, but I only got one prediction right.
The second one, which was just casual without any pressure, turned out to be the one I won. When only three games remained, I remember my body was thrown off balance because I was really nervous. There was a game that had a red card, but ultimately it did not affect the outcome and I managed to win,” Kipkoech reflected on his win.

Kipkoech, who used to work in a tea plantation before venturing out to do his own personal farming, revealed his immediate plans on how he would be spending the windfall to improve his life.

“With this 10 million, I am going to Githunguri to change my life. I am going to buy dairy cows and then afterwards buy another piece of land to grow food for those cows and for my own consumption,” he revealed. SportPesa is like a gift from God to help people without any hope. Because where would I have gotten an amount like this? Right now, I do not think it is easy for someone to loan you something like Ksh 10,000. For that, I am very thankful for this win,Now, I just want to come back for the Mega Jackpot,” he said.
