Kenya and Russia are targeting to strengthen ties between the two countries by leveraging cultural diversity and education.
Path to Russia, an initiative aimed at strengthening educational and cultural ties between the two nations conducted a one-day intercultural exchange at Dr Krapf Primary school in Nairobi where Kenyan students participated in a unique training session.
The event brought together local learners and a visiting Russian teacher for an interactive programme centered on intercultural learning, language appreciation, and global collaboration.
Organizers described the exchange as a “small but impactful” step toward enhancing mutual understanding between the two nations. Students were exposed to aspects of Russian language, customs, and traditions, while also sharing Kenyan cultural elements in return.
Participants engaged in interactive language sessions, cultural games, and group discussions, with both Kenyan and Russian representatives emphasizing the value of such programmes in deepening bilateral relations through education.
The event is part of an ongoing series of grassroots initiatives by Path to Russia to promote people-to-people diplomacy through student exchanges and educational collaborations.
