Over 58,000 tickets for the 2025 African Cup of Nations were sold in just 24 hours after the Morocco Local Organising Committee launched the official sale on Monday, 13th October.
The LOC has also announced tremendous progress in regard to the Yalla App, which is used to purchase the tickets, with 145,731 applications received by Tuesday at 5pm, with the total number
of FAN IDs issued at the same time, closing at 121,924,among them 31,058 foreign requests from 108 different countries.
Organisers of the 35th AFCON have put in place all technological advancement measures to handle the high volume of requests.
Also, over 600 agents working 24 hours, 7 days a week have been engaged to answer enquiries and assist users.
The Yalla app operates in three languages: French, Arabic and English.
Hosts Morocco will open the 24-team tournament in Group A against Comoros on 21st December at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium, which will also stage the final on 18th January, 2026.
