The Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI) has dismissed reports circulating online claiming that Collins Jumaisi Khalusha, the main suspect in the Kwale murders has been re-arrested.
In a statement, the DCI clarified that jumaisi, who escaped from Gigiri Police Station in august 2024, remains at large.
“We wish to clarify that the information about his re-arrest is false, and Collins Jumaisi remains at large.”
The DCI added that efforts to track down the fugitive are ongoing.

A Ksh1 million cash reward remains on offer for information leading to his arrest.
The DCI further reiterated its commitment to ensuring Jumaisi is apprehended and brought to justice.
