Africa Volleyball Championship: Pipeline, Prisons and KCB through to round of 16

All the three Kenyan clubs have qualified for the knock out round of the ongoing Africa Women’s Volleyball Club Championship in Abuja, Nigeria.

The trio:Kenya Pipeline, Kenya Prisons and KCB all sailed through to the round of 16 after completing the group matches in first and second places respectively.

Five time Champions Kenya Pipeline gunning for their first title since 2005 qualified unbeaten from group D  and will now face Spiking Stars of Botswana in the round of 16 fixture scheduled Tuesday.

2023 Champions Kenya Commercial Bank,KCB,who finished second in group C will meet Customs of Nigeria while Five time champions Kenya Prisons will be up against Rwanda Police.

Prisons finished second in group B.

The 34th edition of the continental club championship has attracted a total of 16 teams and is set to culminate April 14th.Egypt’s Zamalek are the defending champions.
