Police from Nyahururu Police Station on Monday night nabbed two suspects and recovered assorted house items worth of thousands of shillings after a night raid In Nyahururu town.
This followed an intelligent report of a suspicious house leading to a security operation during which the two suspects were apprehended while two others managed to escaped.
While addressing the media at Nyahururu Police Station, Nyahururu Assistant County Commissioner, Joseph Wanyonyi said the two suspects were arrested in the house of one of the suspects and items including seven TVs, 12 mobile phones, five national identity cards, two motor bikes among others all valued at about Ksh 600, 000.
Wanyonyi said the police officers are pursuing the two suspects who escaped to bring them to books while the two in police custody will be arraigned in court on Wednesday.
The Administrator urged those who may have lost items to visit Nyahururu Polce Station to find out whether they can identify their items.
He also appreciated the good working relationship between members of public and security agencies which has helped to nab the two suspects and urged them to continue reporting any suspicious activities in their midst.
