Ohangla sensation Emma Jalamo lit up Café Deli, Moi Avenue with an unforgettable live performance that drew fans from across Nairobi.
Jalamo said that the objective of the night from his perspective was to “to give” his fans “an unforgettable night of music.”
The event, attended by Senator Okiya Omtatah, was a vibrant celebration of Luo culture – guests sampled traditional Luo dishes, including kuon bel, osuga, and fish while Jalamo performed a string of his greatest hits.
The show was part of Café Deli’s ongoing initiative to celebrate regional cultures through food and live entertainment. Following the success of Jalamo’s performance, the restaurant has announced a second Luo Cultural Night slated for June 25th, promising yet another evening of authentic music and cuisine.

Also in attendance at the event was hip-hop artist Collo, who was pictured alongside fans of the Ohangla artist.
