The Government has announced a special team deployment to investigate recent violent incidents in Kisii County, emphasizing law enforcement without bias in a security briefing.
In an early Friday morning meeting, the Cabinet Secretary Kindiki Kithure made personnel changes and deployed a special team to investigate and bring to account, organisers, financiers, and perpetrators of violent criminal incidents recently witnessed in parts of Kisii County.
In a statement, the CS directed Security agencies to prioritise preventive security and enforce the law firmly and without regard to the political affiliation or social rank of law breakers.
He had met with the County, Sub-County and Divisional security heads from the entire Kisii County.
