The Government has declared Monday, March 31, 2025, a Public Holiday to celebrate Idd-ul-Fitr.
Interior Cabinet Secretay Kipchumba Murkomen announced the decision th
hrough a gazette notice dated March 28th, 2025.
“It is notified for the general information of the public that, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 2 (1) of the Public Holidays Act, the Cabinet Secretary for Interior and National Administration declares that Monday, the 31st March, 2025, shall be a public holiday to mark Idd-ul-Fitr,” read the gazette notice.
