Harambee Stars drop two places in latest FIFA ranking

The national men’s soccer team, Harambee Stars, has dropped by two places in the September FIFA world rankings released on Thursday.

Harambee Stars, who lost 3-1 to Gambia in a group F World Cup qualifier, has dropped to position 112 from 110, which they held in last month’s ranking.

Uganda is the best-placed team in East Africa in position 82, moving two places up, while Tanzania is placed 117th.

Morocco remains the best African side in position 13, followed by Senegal and Egypt in 18th and 35th positions, respectively.

Spain leads the standings, moving two places up, followed by France, while reigning world champions Argentina have dropped two places to 3rd.
