The National Women’s U17 soccer team ,Junior Starlets face Morocco U17 Women’s soccer team in a friendly match scheduled tonight,kicking off at 9PM in Rabat.
The two will again face off in the second encounter on Monday 7th April
Junior Starlets will use the matches to prepare for the 2025 FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup qualifier against Cameroon.
The first leg is scheduled Sunday, April 20, at Nyayo Stadium, with the return leg scheduled April 25, away in Younde with the match set to be played at Stade Olembe.
The aggregate winner of the fixture will qualify for the 2025 FIFA Women’s U17 World Cup which will be held in Morocco from October 17 to November 8.
Kenya is gunning for a second consecutive qualification for the world showpiece after making ebut at last year’s edition in Dominican Republic.
“These matches will give us a perfect chance to assess our readiness and expose the girls to top-level competition.” she said.
