KenHa announces one-month traffic disruption at Haile Selassie roundabout

The Kenya National Highways Authority (KenHA) has announced a one-month traffic disruption at the Haile Selassie roundabout in Nairobi beginning today, Monday, March 3 till Monday, April 7, 2025.

According to KenHA Director General Eng. Kung’u Ndung’u, the disruption will allow for the construction of the pedestrian underpass at the section.

Eng. Ndung’u called on motorists to follow traffic management plans put in place during the period.

Meanwhile, the National Government is reinvesting toll revenues into infrastructure development and transparency in the adoption of modern payment systems.

This comes as the Ministry of Roads and Transport, in collaboration with transport stakeholders carries out country wide public participation for a to discuss the proposed Road Tolling Policy.

The sessions aim to inform residents, transport operators and local leaders about the policy’s objectives and implementation plans.
