Kenyan musician Bien-Aimé Baraza is set to share the stage with R&B sensation Karyn White on May 31 for the One Night Only concert at the Sarit Expo Centre.
The show, also dubbed the Las Vegas-style experience, will see the Grammy-nominated singer behind classics like ‘Superwoman’ and ‘Romantic’ headline the event alongside Grammy-winning saxophonist Kirk Whalum and Tanzanian Bongo Flava star Ali Kiba.
But for many fans online, the biggest talking point is the live debut of “Finale,” the hit collaboration between Bien and Tanzanian superstar Ali Kiba. The pair are expected to perform the song together for the very first time, months after its release, turning it one of East Africa’s biggest records of the year.
The timing could not be more perfect for football-loving fans, either. The performance comes just days after Arsenal’s title celebrations lit up social media, with “Finale” quickly becoming one of the unofficial soundtracks used in celebration videos and fan edits online.
The concert follows the success of last year’s sold-out One Night Only show headlined by Kenny G, with organisers promising an even bigger production this time around.
