According to the National Police Service (NPS), the suspects fled towards the Ruai Hills when security officers intercepted them. They abandoned the animals as they escaped through the rugged terrain.

A multi-agency security team is still carrying out an operation in the area to locate the suspects, restore calm, and recover any other missing animals.

The NPS commended the security team for their swift and coordinated response, attributing the recovery of the goats and sheep to their efforts.

The Service urges the public to report any criminal or suspicious activities to the nearest police station and to continue sharing information with authorities to help curb criminal activities.
