Award-winning gospel artist Cece Winans is set to perform in Nairobi on August 30. The tour date is in support of her album, More Than This, released in 2024.
Nairobi is just one of the few cities the 15-time Grammy award winner will perform in before moving on to other African cities, including Johannesburg, Kampala, Harare and Cape Town.
Speaking about the, More Than This, tour Winans said, “I’m deeply humbled by the outpouring of love and support. This journey has been beyond amazing, and I’m so grateful to keep sharing God’s message through music. The ‘More Than This’ tour is going to be truly special, and I can’t wait to see what God has in store for all of us.”
Tickets for Nairobi’s event are on sale on the Madfun platform, the company that brought Burna Boy to Nairobi in March. Prices range from KSh. 2000 to 10,000 for a meet and greet.
The concert will feature some of her more popular songs, such as “That’s My King”, which peaked at number 1 on the Billboard Gospel chart.
