Mombasa city was the place to be as the Captain Morgan Spice Takeover transformed Big Tree Beach Resort into a centre of flavours, music and coastal vibes.

Kenyan Genge sensation Mejja headlined the event with a performance that had the crowd singing along to every word.

DJ Issa Platinum and DJ Ronyle kept energy levels high while MC Gogo, DJ Daffy and MC Chapatizo maintained the sherehe atmosphere throughout the night.

“We are thrilled with how Mombasa showed up,” noted Davis Changalwa, who helped organize the event. “From the energy to the people, the coastal vibe created the perfect setting for an unforgettable night.”

Food stations offered a variety of options that complemented the expertly mixed Captain Morgan cocktails.

The Spice Takeover appears to be part of a growing trend of branded experience events targeting younger consumers who value immersive social gatherings that go beyond traditional nightlife.

For Mombasa, a leisure destination, the event demonstrates the city’s capacity to host entertainment experiences that appeal to both locals and tourists exploring Kenya’s coastal towns.
