Homabay’s Michael Olunga Football Academy, MOFA, defeated Zoo Kericho 2-1 in FKF Division 1 Zone B league match played at Kericho Green Stadium.
Zoo Kericho, playing in front of their passionate home crowd, got off to a strong start when Ggolola Sammy found the back of the net in the 6th minute, giving the hosts an early lead.
MOFA staged a comeback in the second half as George Odhiambo pulled level after 70 minutes.
Dalphine Omuri completed the comeback for the Homabay based outfit sealing the thrilling victory scoring a second with six minutes to play.
After 19 matches MOFA is placed 9th on the 15 team standings with 17 points while Zoo remain 3rd with 34 points.
Luanda Villa leads the Zone B standings with 39 points while Green Commandos is placed second,a point adrift.
Kamungei United and aGDC lie in bottom two positions .

Football Kenya federation division one is the third tier of Kenyan football pyramid and consists of 32 teams divided in two zones of 16 teams each.
Winners of each zone are crowned champions and get automatically promoted to the National Super League,NSL.
The second placed teams from the two zones face each other in promotion play off to decide the third team to be promoted to the NSL.
Bottom three teams from both zones get relegated to the fkf fourth tier ,the division two league.
