Kenya in pool B at U20 2025 AFCON in Egypt

The national U20 men’s soccer team,Rising Stars,has been pooled in group B at the forthcoming U20 Africa Cup Of Nations scheduled April 27th-18th May in Cairo, Egypt.

Kenya making her debut at the 17th edition of the championship will battle record seven time winners Nigeria,Tunisia and Morocco.

Reigning champions Senegal, aiming to defend the title they won in 2023, are in group C alongside three time winners Ghana,DR Congo and Central Africa Republique.

Group A consists of hosts Egypt,Zambia,Siera Leone,South Africa and Tanzania.

The top two teams from each group, plus the two best third-placed teams, will advance to the quarter-finals.

Top four sides at the conclusion of the tournament will qualify for the 2025 U20 FIFA World Cup scheduled for Chile.
