The national women’s rugby sevens team,Kenya Lionesses,beat Colombia 12-5 to qualify for the main cup final of the ongoing second leg of the HSBC Challenger series IN Cape Town South Africa.
Kenya qualified for the semi final after winning her opening two group matches against Belgium and Uganda.
Against Colombia Kenya fell behind to Daniel Alzate third minute try but Judith Okumu levlled the scores shortly after.Sharon Auma touched with a minute to go with Sinaida Nyachio adding the extras to hand Kenya the win.
Following the win Kenya Lionesses will play South Africa in the final scheduled 8.51pm.South Africa bbeat Czechia 21-15.
