The National Basketball Association (NBA) has made a slam dunk return to SuperSport channels, bringing live coverage back across Africa for the first time since the 2015/16 season.

MultiChoice, a CANAL+ company which owns SuperSport, has also announced that the NBA will make its first appearance on Showmax Premier League platforms.

For the first time since the 2015-16 season, SuperSport channels will air  live NBA games, marking a significant step as the sport’s popularity continues its massive growth trajectory across Africa.

Fans can now  watch selected regular-season games and playoff games, plus the All-Star Weekend, featuring global superstars like MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Nikola Jokić, Joel Embiid, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Pascal Siakam and Luka Dončić.

This is a celebration of athleticism and star power, offering fans the chance to catch all the action from the NBA live on SuperSport.

It is a notable moment for basketball fans across the continent as Showmax Premier League streams live NBA games for the first time ever.
